Subject: Change in Student Exit Procedures
Dear Parents and Guardians,
In order to ensure the safety of all students during dismissal, we are updating our exit gate procedures effective immediately:
TK – Kindergarten: Exit through the gate in front of the office
Grades 1 – 3: Exit through Gate 2 (by the flagpole)
Grades 4 – 6: Exit through Gate 1 (by the bus barn)
For the safety of your child and all students, we kindly ask:
Do not call out or reach for your child at the gate.
Please line up and provide your child’s name to the supervisor at the gate. Our staff will then call your child to meet you.
We appreciate your cooperation and support in keeping our dismissal process safe and orderly.
Do not double park or stop in red zones.
Do not call students to run across the street—use crosswalks only.
Parents may not enter staff parking lots or use them for U-turns.
Parents must have a Visitor’s Permit to enter campus. Drop off students at the gate by the attendance window.
Students must follow crossing guards and be on campus by 8:05 a.m.

A few reminders:
- Class lists will be posted today by 6:30 p.m.
- Parents may accompany their child on the first day of school.
- Starting Tuesday, parents must drop off their child in the designated drop-off areas (no parents allowed on campus).
- On the first day of school we will be on a minimum day schedule:
- TK will be released at 12:10 p.m.
- K–8th will be released at 12:50 p.m.

Algunos recordatorios:
- Las listas de clases se publicarán hoy a las 6:30 p.m.
- Los padres podrán acompañar a su hijo(a) el primer día de clases.
- A partir del martes, los padres deberán dejar a su hijo(a) en las áreas de entrega designadas (no se permitirá la entrada de padres al plantel).

Special reminder for our incoming 7th graders - don't forget that TDAP vaccination! And for our littlest learners in TK/K, those up-to-date shots and health checks are your golden ticket to the first day of school.
