Dear Parents,
As we approach the last day of school, we kindly ask for your help in checking for any library books that may still be signed out under your child’s name. We still have over 200 books that need to be returned to our school library.

Please take a moment to ask your child, check backpacks, bedrooms, vehicles, and around the house so the books can be properly turned in before the end of the school year.
We greatly appreciate your cooperation and support in helping us keep our library organized and ready for all students next year. Thank you!

📢 2026–2027 Grade Level Placement – Clarification

The district is aware that there has been inaccurate information circulating regarding 6th and 7th grade classroom placement for the 2026–2027 school year. This message is intended to provide clear and accurate information to our school community.

To clarify:

✔️ 6th and 7th grade students will NOT be combined in the same classroom
✔️ Each grade level will remain separate with its own homeroom teacher
✔️ Students will change classes within their assigned grade level only

Staffing (Tentative Plan for 2026–2027):

Mrs. Siqueiros will serve as the 6th grade homeroom teacher, teaching ELA and Social Studies to 6th and 7th grade students separately by grade level, and teaching 6th grade PE.
Mrs. Meza will serve as the 7th grade homeroom teacher, teaching Math and Science to 6th and 7th grade students separately by grade level, and teaching 7th grade PE.

Both 6th and 7th grade students will be located on the middle school campus while remaining in separate grade-level cohorts and schedules.

Please note that this is the tentative plan for the 2026–2027 school year, and may be adjusted if needed based on enrollment or staffing considerations.

We encourage families and staff to direct any questions to school administration so accurate information can be provided. Thank you for helping us maintain clear and consistent communication within our school community.

Today, our entire staff participated in training provided by ICOE with Lauren Wren on the “I Love U Guys” Standard Response Protocol (SRP).

This important training focused on creating consistent emergency response practices across our campuses to help ensure the safety and security of all students and staff. Over the coming months, we will continue working with these protocols and procedures so that everyone understands the expectations and responses during emergency situations.

Thank you to ICOE and Lauren Wren for providing this valuable training and support for our schools.
