Something exciting is coming to Westmorland Elementary!
We are excited to officially unveil our new Book Vending Machine on Thursday, September 24 at 5:00 p.m. in the WUED Library, right before Back to School Night.
A huge thank you to Imperial Irrigation District (IID) for providing the funding that made this exciting addition to our school possible. We also want to recognize Mrs. Ana Perez, who wrote the grant and secured the funding for our students.
We’ll also have a special guest joining us — Dippy Duck will be here to help cut the ribbon!
Students will have opportunities to earn books from the vending machine for great attendance, making the honor roll, and demonstrating good citizenship.
We hope our Roadrunner families will join us as we cut the ribbon and celebrate a new way to put books directly into the hands of our students!
